Class Passes Terms and Conditions

​

Casual, 3, 5, and 10 trip pass each have a 12 month expiry date. The pass expires 12 months after the clients first visit.

 

The Yoga Studio Monthly Studio Membership

​

1.The Yoga Studio works hard to ensure all classes are held according to the latest timetable and will endeavour to give notice before making changes. However, the schedule is subject to change or be cancelled without notice. The Yoga Studio is not liable to refund or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed, or cancelled for any reason but will offer the student to book another class for no extra charge. All classes require a booking.

2.The minimum term for The Yoga Studio Monthly Studio Membership is 12 consecutive weeks and there is no option to suspend membership prior to this time frame unless by the discretion of The Yoga Studio.

3.This membership allows you unlimited classes each week, but excludes guest teachers, workshops or other special events.

​

4. As a weekly member, you are not charged for not showing up to a class you have booked, but we ask you to be mindful when scheduling and respect the class and teacher by making every effort to come to class. Two hours notice is the preferred cancellation time frame.

5. Membership will automatically continue on a monthly basis (after the initial three months) until The Yoga Studio is advised by you via email (hello@theyogastudio.nz) to cancel the membership. There is no charge for cancellation.

6. If automatic payments fail more than once, The Yoga Studio may request you to cancel membership and pay casual rates as you go.

​

7. The Yoga Studio Monthly Studio Membership can only be used by one person.

​

8. Our payment processor Ezidebit charge a dishonour fee in the event they cannot collect payment from you on the day it is due. This fee is AUD$14.95 and is debited straight from your bank account. The Yoga Studio does not refund dishonour fees. If you feel that you were unfairly charged we can contact Ezidebit on your behalf but it is their decision as to whether a refund is due.

9. By signing up to the The Yoga Studio Weekly Studio Membership you are agreeing to the above Terms and Conditions.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Studio Classes

​

Any reservations that are cancelled with more than 2 hours before class start time are classed as an ‘early cancel’ and your pass will not be used.

​

Any reservations that are cancelled within 2 hours of the class start time are classed as a ‘late cancel’ and the pass will be used.

​

Any refunds for classes cancelled after this time is at the discretion of The Yoga Studio.

It is the clients responsibility to cancel a booked class through the MINDBODY online booking system or app within the 2-hour time frame.

The Yoga Studio does not except cancellations via email or text.

6 Week Beginner Course

​

Please ensure you are able to attend the FULL 6 weeks of the course, as we are unable to do ‘make up’ classes due to the popularity of the class.

 

Any cancellations once the course begins are not able to be refunded or moved to another day/time.

Workshops and Retreats

​

You are able to cancel your space on a retreat or workshop up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and receive a full refund minus an admin fee of $10.

​

If you are attending a full day or a weekend retreat, this fee may differ due to accommodation, catering and/or material costs.

​

Waitlist

​

When placing yourself on the ‘waitlist’ for a class, it is your responsibility to monitor your emails as The Yoga Studio will email you as soon as someone cancels their space. This can happen up to 2 hours before the class is due to start. Please note that the 2 hour cancellation policy is still in place, if your plans change and you no longer wish to attend it is advised that you cancel your waitlist spot so that you are not charged as a ‘late cancel’.

Purchase Policy

​

All classes/services are paid for online or in cash before class starts.

​

If you are unable to register and book online you will be required to fill in a registration form so you can be loaded you into our online booking system.

​

Gift vouchers

​

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to cash, how ever we are happy to transfer the gift voucher to another member or new student.

​

Returns / Refunds

​

Studio Classes

​

The Yoga Studio requires 2 hours notice for any class cancellations. Any refunds for classes cancelled after this time is at the discretion of The Yoga Studio.

6 Week beginner course

​

The Yoga Studio does not issue refunds or partial refunds for un-used 6 Week Beginner courses. Our courses are popular and we cannot guarantee that you will be able to make up the missed classes on a future 6 Week Beginner Course.

Courses/Workshops/Retreats

Privacy Policy

​

The Yoga Studio respects your personal information and will not sell it at any time to any person/business. All information sourced is for our business use only. All information online is secure through MINDBODY Online and any registration forms filled out in person are filed in a safe place.

Liability Waiver

​

When creating an account and/or attending The Yoga Studio class /online class / retreat or workshop you are agreeing that:

​

1. Though unlikely, I understand that participating in an exercise class involves risk of injury; I agree that I am responsible for any injuries sustained by me as a result of my participation in this class (including prenatal) or any future classes I attend at The Yoga Studio.

2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical physician prior to my participation in any yoga class offered by The Yoga Studio.

3. I have the consent of a parent or guardian (if under 16 years old).
